Full-time mom, part-time agent?

I have been following you on YouTube for a while and decided to purchase your coaching program.  I am a wife and mother of 2 (under 3 yrs). I am a new agent and cannot afford to spend a lot of money on marketing. I cannot afford a sitter and I take my boys with me prospecting. I know that they often hold me back from prospecting via phone or door knock expireds. I want to know what can I do to prospect with the kids with me.”

Real Estate MomI wish I had some easy solution for you, Victoria… But it’s tough. See, you’re getting your new business off the ground and that requires tons of time, effort, learning, persistence, and some money.

You’re in a big disadvantage because other agents you compete with can invest more time – to preview properties, to market, prospect, to follow-up, to meet sellers and buyers at their convenience.

I totally get your desire to make it work — and your passion, but I don’t think that’s enough. See, to get up and running quickly will either take time and work (that was my approach – I just worked my butt off), or money — so you would out-source some of the marketing and admin work. But if you don’t have either one, it will be not be easy.

I’m sure there are a handful of agents who managed to pull it off in spite of their circumstances, but there really isn’t a simple answer.
